At Hollingbourne Primary we adhere to the KCC Admissions Policy.
The school has a single intake in September each year; the planned admission number is 15.
The governors are also required to decide on an annual basis, whether or not rising 5's will be admitted.  At present they are admitted.
In the event of applications exceeding the number of available places the county's admissions criteria will apply.
Parents interested in sending their children to the school should contact the school office in the first instance.
Parents considering sending their children to the school are encouraged to visit with their children during school time by appointment.
New infant entrants have an induction morning in school (when they may also stay for lunch) in the summer term before they start.
Close contact is maintained with the local pre-school and they have a special induction programme. These children also attend for a morning with their pre-school leader and for a morning with their parents.
The induction programmes ease the transition to full-time schooling.
