On 4th April 2019, Pine Class performed their production- Hoodwinked!
The children all created an Easter egg scene!
The scenes were pretty impressive!
On 3rd April 2019, we had our Easter service at the church.
On April 2nd we climbed the Downs to go egg rolling!
On 27th March KS2 went off to Kingswood for their residential!
On March 20th and 21st we planted 420 trees which were given to us free by the Woodland Trust.
The trees are going to grow into hedgerow to help protect the road traffic noise.

March 7th 2019 was World Book Day! We all wore Pyjamas and bought blankets and pillows into school. We all shared books togther in the hall during the afternoon!
March 5th 2019 was Pancake Race day!
This special event is organised by the WI in the village!
On February 14th 2019 we had our first ever school disco! We had a great time and raised valuable funds for the school.
On February 5th 2019 we marked Safer Internet Day. We worked together to learn how to stay safe online.
On January 30th 2019, we went to the O2 arena to sing with Young Voices.
On 18th December 2018 we had our Christmas lunch and wore our Chrsitms hats!
We also had our Christingle service in the church

On 17th December 2018 we had our Christmas party!
We played games and ate lots!
Father Christmas came to visit!
On December 12th 2018 we had our Christmas concert!
Many musical talents were shared!
On December 7th 2018 we had our school Christmas fair!
Everyone had a great time and we managed to raise lots of money for school!
On December 10th 2018 we entertained the senior villagers at a tea party!
On December 6th 2018 Cherry Class and Beech Class performed their Christmas plays.
The children were brilliant!
On 1st December 2018 we sold hand made Christmas decorations at the village Christmas Fair
We made over £50 profit!
On November 11th 2018, we were asked to read the names of the soldiers of Hollingbourne who had lost their lives in the first world war.
We read the names at the opening of the Avenue of Remembrance, where we had planted the trees as part of the P100 project.
In the evening a beacon was lit at the Meadows site.
On October 10th 2018 we celebrated Harvest
Members of Year 6 read a prayer.
We made Harvest Boxes and took them to the church
Cherry Class performed a song.
On October 5th 2018 the children went to the Culpeper Meadow to plant trees for the P100 project.
The project is creating an Avenue of Remembrance. 100 trees planted to mark 100 years since the end of WW1
Remembering the past and planting for the future. Each child will be able to remember the tree they planted and watch it grow over the years to come.

On 9th July 2018 we had our annual sports day.

From July 4th-6th 2018 we went on our Key Stage 1 residential to Lower Grange Farm!
On June 21st and 22nd 2018 the whole school took part in two 'Maths Days'! The days were packed with number, shape, measure and problems to solve! We also linked maths to art and finished with an amazing art gallery on Friday afternoon.

On June 20th we held the summer concert! Many children from across the school performed!

Key Stage 2 stayed away for their Residential at Broadstone Warren Camp- June 6th- 8th 2018
On June 6th, 7th, and 8th our new fire pit was installed!
